Women artists, historians and educators who focus on social justice issues will find a lot to love at Art Speaks: Lend Your Voice, the Annual Conference of the Women’s Caucus for Art, Feb. 22-24, 2018 in downtown Los Angeles. The highlight is a free public celebration on Feb. 24, when internationally-known artists Lee Bontecou, Lynn Hershman Leeson, Gloria Orenstein and Renee Stout receive Lifetime Achievement Awards for decades of groundbreaking work. The conference is an unusual opportunity for WCA members and non-members to meet outstanding women artists, network with artists from around the country, and experience thought-provoking art exhibits, performances and panel discussions.
