On Saturday evening, Oct 24th 2020, the Los Angeles Center of Photography (LACP) will host its annual Fundraising Gala 2020. This year’s event will take place in an exciting and immersive online environment and will honor seminal celebrity photographer Douglas Kirkland along with his esteemed wife Francoise Kirkland, Los Angeles-based photographer Estevan Oriol, and the photography staff of Los Angeles Times.
LACP Gala 2020 will feature over 100 outstanding photographs from well known and award-winning photographers that have been generously donated to be put up for auction to meet its operational goals for 2021. The evening will include celebrity hosts, special guests, a virtual and interactive post-gala cocktail party and a special showcase of photographs from our juried competition, “The Connected World.” In addition, you will be able to hear some of the most famous photographers of today talking exclusively about their work. .
