Shelter is a juried visual exhibition of site-specific, temporary installations located throughout the 17 acres of Audubon Center parkland. With habitat at its core, artists address issues of ecological concerns (i.e. global warming, habitat encroachment and destruction, water and air pollution) which impact the ongoing health and safety of our natural landscape; biology; and the migratory patterns in our Northeast LA neighborhoods. Work will be displayed along the Butterfly Loop, the Children’s Garden and other spaces about the Facility.
Exhibition runs from May 4 – June 8, 2019, Tuesday – Saturday 9am-5pm
