Join us for the FORUM II’s first pop-up show of the year!
As a continuous survey in site-specific space in Los Angeles, the cohort members of Forum 2 have decided to launch a pilot of satellite spaces throughout the Los Angeles area, in order to bring awareness to TAM Forum programming, exposure of members of the cohort, artist-run spaces in the city, and Torrance Art Museum. Funding for this programming is in preparation for our museum exhibition taking place on December 7th.
(1+2= TAM Forum) is a one-day pop-up show displaying and selling postcard format paintings or smaller objects from members of the cohort. Members are encouraged to donate 1-3 pieces of their work with prices ranging from $25, $50 to $100+ dollars. The format of the show will be top shelf with lower priced items on the bottom shelf and higher price items on top.
As this is a show in order to bring awareness to the programming at the Torrance Art Museum, former members of Forum 1 are encouraged to donate work as well as friends of TAM. Funding will be distributed throughout the satellite spaces, alcohol, catalog, and miscellaneous exhibition costs. Any remaining funds will be gifted to the next group of TAM Forum members.
