Bettina Hubby and Saskia Wilson-Brown‘s new online gallery debuted in the brick-and-mortar Bestor Architecture building on Hyperion in Silver Lake last Sunday, Feb 17. The place was packed with Chardonnay sippers provided by neighbors Silverlake Wine, accompanied by salty snacks. Even a piano player provided bad disco numbers to add some class to the early evening soiree. And! There was some great deals; I even bought a bitchin’ pair of clay sunglasses by Agnes Bolt. ALAC Fair Director Tim Fleming followed my lead with a purchase too. Hubby’s mom was hard at work wrapping the art tenderly in bubble wrap (even though my clay piece still broke).
