PARISTEXASLA is proud to present MACRO DYNAMICS, a solo presentation of the latest body of work by Buckley opening to the public October 5th.

Executed in an array of techniques including painting, sculpture, woodcuts, and ceramics, Buckley’s interdependent compositions weave bodies and narratives together. What arises is a complex social dynamism and blend of symbolism and visual philosophy. The ecosystem of figures which appear throughout her paintings is representative of a system of individuals existing together as a whole.

MACRO DYNAMICS explores the delicate precarity of our humanity in a moment of individualism. Buckley’s elegant lines efficiently collapse the notions of the individual and place in its stead an elaborate dance of interconnectedness.
