Hosted by Ed Begley Jr, opening night will kick off with an art exhibition and book launch of The Universal Sea, Pure or Plastic!? The exhibition will feature international artists who have transformed consumer waste into powerful visual manifestos. Among the international artists featured: Claudia Borgna, Marcus Eriksen, Cynthia Minet; Dianna Cohen, Sarah Julig.
The Universal Sea is a week long event will include the opportunity to “talk trash” with artists and symposium speakers, a live performance, a boutique of curated creations made out of trash available for purchase, and other surprises.
