• In Town — Los Angeles and environs

Fabrik Projects Gallery of Los Angeles will open a unique exhibition featuring American artist SameSource on June 29, on view until July, 27. Reinterpreted will feature over 25 works by the photographic artist. In this series, SameSource has taken masterworks of figure painting and reinterpreted the paintings through photography, replacing the characters in these paintings with modern body types, modern aesthetics of beauty, and alternative views on sexuality. In addition, the exhibition will be supported by the release of a fine art photography book by the same name, which includes historical context and analysis from the artist-author.
