The third annual BoldPas: A Day of Art & Play in Old Pasadena returns to the Old Pasadena historic district on Saturday, June 8, 2019, 12:00-8:00pm. The free, one-day-only community event brings 16 temporary art installations and hands-on activations directly onto Old Pasadena’s unique pedestrian alleys. At every turn, visitors will encounter art that is BOLD – in color, scale, materials, and concept. All artists are from the greater LA area – they will be on hand throughout the day to showcase their installations and interact with the public.
Many Old Pasadena businesses will host art activities in their stores and restaurants, and several will display their own bold installations on their storefronts. Additionally, the Armory Center for the Arts and other cultural institutions will welcome guests all day with hands-on art activities.
BoldPas offers a fantastic opportunity to see and touch art, stroll the unique urban alleyways of Old Pasadena, snap photos with large-scale and surprising artwork, and spend the day outdoors with family and friends. This event is FREE and all ages are welcome – many activities for designed for children. Come play for a day in Old Pasadena!
