”Light In The Age of Darkness”, an upcoming exhibition at DEPART Foundation’s Malibu Village location, features work by 17 acclaimed international, contemporary artists, among them Frances Stark, Slavs and Tartars and Sterling Ruby.
The group show that examines themes of identity, language, and communication emerging in a moment of shifting socio-political and cultural landscapes through works made in the past decade, will be presented alongside a solo exhibition by LA artist Keegan Gibbs titled, “Marie, Is That You?”, exploring emotions that engulf a surfer through through paintings, photographs, videos, and room-sized installations.
Both exhibitions open Saturday, November 17 and will be on view until December 27 and we invite you to attend the opening preview on November 17 from 6-9pm.
