This month’s Family Studio Workshop takes its inspiration from the imagery found in Zoe Leonard’s landmark, decade-long project ‘Analogue’ (1998 – 2009), currently on view in the East Gallery. Storefronts and objects depicted in this exhibition act as points of departure for workshop participants to create their own hand-painted signs to advertise real or imaginary products that relate to their passions and interests. Together, families will make their own signs using paint sticks, tape, stencils, labels, and vinyl decals. The workshop will be led by Matt MacFarland.
