On Sunday, November 18 from 1.30-3.30pm, join Here artists Patrick Martinez and Anna Sew Hoy to talk about the connections and communities of inspiration in their practice and new works in the exhibition. This talk is part of the programming for Here exhibition, a timely and unique group exhibition presented by Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) and Barnsdall Art Park Foundation, which is currently debuting at Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery. The fall show examines shifting physical/geographical and conceptual/imagined boundaries (and boundlessness) in, and around, the metropolis of LA and how those barriers act to prevent people from interacting and exchanging.
