Los Angeles based painter Joey Wolf presents new work, including massive layered oil paintings on panel, charcoal drawings, and watercolors. Wolf explores the nuances of contemporary Americana—and more specifically California living—through the vernacular of drinking games and other Saturday activities.
Joey Wolf (b. 1987, Newport Beach, CA) is an artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Wolf graduated from Otis College of Art and Design (BFA, Fine Art) in 2010. Recent exhibitions include the artist’s first solo exhibition, Weekends, at Depart Foundation (Los Angeles, CA, 2018); Look at Us at GNYP Gallery (Berlin, 2017); and After Eden at MuzeuMM (Los Angeles, 2015). His work is included in the collection at International Creative Management as well as several private collections.
