
‘Aleatoric’ NEW SOLO EXHIBITION by Sevag Mahserejian
Los Angeles, CA – Sevag Mahserejian’s new solo exhibition to open at the Substrate Gallery in Los Angeles. ‘Aleatoric’ will run Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 through Sunday, September 23rd, 2018. An Opening Reception will be held on Saturday, September 22nd from 6:30-11pm.
Sevag Mahserejian’s solo exhibition will showcase a new series and collection created over the last year. Artwork includes a series created on paper, as well as canvas and wood.
‘Aleatoric’ hints that Mahserejian has created the featured artwork independently, at random, with no intended theme, but unifies his work with his own distinct style and personality.
‘Aleatoric’ will run Saturday, September 22nd from 6:30-11pm and Sunday, September 23rd from 11:30am-5:30pm.
Substrate Gallery is located at 709 N Ridgewood Pl. Los Angeles, CA 90038
All ages are welcome.
The artist will be present for the duration of the exhibition.
About the Artist
Armenian artist Sevag Mahserejian, born in California, graduated from UC Irvine in 2008. He fuses culture, painting, theatre, and writing. His diverse creative outlets continuously transform his artworks. His passion for whimsy and discovery become apparent in the multiple layers of texture and color of each painting. Mahserejian’s free and playful approach to his subject matter, alongside his sense of connection with the natural world, result in unique works that allow him to communicate cultural synergies and differences. His paintings reflect the zealous appreciation for life and the pleasures of the simplest experiences that can make a difference in one’s perception of a subject matter. Mahserejian’s artworks have been exhibited nationally, while his focus remains in Los Angeles, where he continues to complete murals and installation artwork.
