Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) and Otis College of Art and Design have partnered to celebrate the first day of summer and National Selfie Day with the unveiling of original artwork by Otis College 2018 graduates, Charlie Kendall and Alice Hur at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The event also coincides with the 100-year anniversary of Otis College. The featured art pieces will provide an artistic selfie background for travelers and represent the many facets that make Los Angeles unique such as sunny beaches, cultural diversity and enchanting deserts. After taking selfies, guests will be encouraged to post their pictures on social media platforms and tag #100PercentLA, #FlyLAX and #otiscollege. Throughout the summer, additional art pieces from other Otis graduates will be displayed in various terminals and areas at LAX. The walls will be up for the duration of the summer.
