Join us on Sunday, June 24th, 2018, as L.A. Commons hosts Los Angeles’ eighth annual Day of the Ancestors: Festival of Masks in Leimert Park, South LA’s cultural hub.
The VIP experience will transport you to the heart of Salvador, Brazil, LA’s Sister City, with light Brazilian fare, refreshingly tropical punches, and the chance to create your own wearable art-piece. VIP Admission includes access to the VIP hospitality tent, light hors d’oeuvres, cool drinks, a themed T-shirt, and a Festival goodie bag.
The Festival of Masks features a procession of masks, live musical performances, local food, artists, youth groups, and South LA community members engaging in celebration of the Global African Village, paying homage to our heritage, peace, and unity through music, dance, and craft.
