Suspended Dysbeliefs is a short-term, group exhibition of hanging artworks in a Quonset hut in Los Angeles, partially inspired by the Guggenheim Museum New York’s brilliant hanging installation of the entire oeuvre by the Spanish artist Maurizio Cattelan, as well as Alexander Calder’s captivating mobiles.
With dimensional works suspended from the supporting structure at various heights within the semicircular structure of one of the Moonhuts, the vision is to create a dense “atmosphere” of hanging works, a floating cabinet of curiosities, with a winding path the length of the hut from which to view them.
