rumba gallery will showing the recent work of local artist Moye Thompson in a solo exhibition. Moye will be presenting the first installment in a series: “Sweet Land of Liberty” inspired by the power of our country’s words. Through her love of ceramics, she has funneled her emotions about this present time and found refuge in the writings of the Constitution and the 1st amendment. Her pieces are not only aesthetically unique, but also inspirational and a reminder to us all to persist.

Moye worked as a writer and editor in New York, till her childhood love for ceramics took her life over. She lives and work in her studio off her house in Santa Monica Canyon.
