Between Skin and Bone — Anji Woodley & Tyson Mason
Nov 7 - Nov 28
1:00 am - 5:00 pm

INTERVAL Gallery
2522 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles California 90026

INTERVAL Gallery presents Between Skin and Bone, bringing together South African multidisciplinary artist Anji Woodley and artist Tyson Mason for an exhibition exploring material, memory and human emotion through two distinct artistic practices.

Woodley transforms leather, paper, wax and bone-related materials into tactile works that move between painting and sculpture. Making her Los Angeles exhibition debut, she explores physical transformation, vulnerability and the passage of time.

Mason creates intimate graphite drawings using a mechanical pencil, capturing fleeting moments of affection, heartbreak and everyday life through light, gesture and meticulous observation.

Together, their works explore what lies between the physical and the emotional: the surfaces we inhabit, the experiences we carry and the traces we leave behind.
