Material Projects is proud to present NEOMA a solo show featuring the work of Emma Limtiaco. Emma is an artist and educator whose rich paintings touch on memory layering and perception. This exhibition will feature new work and is a tour de force of material, process and texture. The exhibition brings together abstract watercolor paintings and sculptural ceramic elements that explore the relationship between perception, material, and image. Through layering, translucency, and shifting relationships between surface and depth, the work considers how our visual experiences are continually constructed and reinterpreted. An opening reception will be held on Saturday October 10th from 5 to 8 and will be on view by appointment through the 24th.
