Curated by ACCA Fine Arts, WILD GUARDIANS examines the dialogue between representation and abstraction. Renowned art critic Peter Frank notes that few multifocal artists achieve Galstyan’s stark diversity: while his hyperrealistic wildlife renderings capture the gaze of lions, tigers, panthers, and gorillas with uncanny emotional depth, his non-objective paintings explore a visual syntax of dense markings, suggesting language at the boundary between opacity and revelation.
