Michel Auder’s artistic practice has amassed into one of the most significant and enduring archives in contemporary art. Remains of the Day presents new and historical photographs alongside video work, including the first public presentation of images Auder made over decades to identify and organize his own footage, an archive that moves fluidly between document and artwork, memory and record. The exhibition is accompanied by a publication of the same title, designed by June Yu.
On view September 12 through October 24, with an opening reception and artist talk hosted by Hamza Walker.
