Photographic Arts Council Los Angeles (PAC LA) is pleased to present “our sharp line of sight,” a live Zoom presentation by artist Fabiola Menchelli, taking place on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 3:00pm PST.
This online event—produced and hosted by Hannah Sloan—offers an inside look at Menchelli’s ongoing investigation into light, material, perception, and her approach to photography not only as a form of representation, but as a mode of experience. For more information, and to register, please visit: www.eventbrite.com/e/pac-la-fabiola-menchelli-online-presentation-tickets-1997061918959.
Working directly with photosensitive materials and light as raw matter, Fabiola Menchelli’s work opens the image as a space where the perceptual, the material, and the ideological converge. Engaging the limits of visibility, it shifts attention toward what remains unseen, proposing observation as an embodied and intuitive process. In doing so, her work explores forms of attention that move beyond the rational, inviting ways of relating to the world grounded in curiosity, uncertainty, and a desire to situate oneself within something larger.
This live on Zoom event will be recorded and posted to PAC LA’s YouTube channel following the live program. Past events can be viewed on PAC LA’s YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/@PhotographicArtsCouncilLA/videos
