Traces can be found in an echo of violence, an afterimage of migration, a tremor of ecological collapse, a heaviness of grief. These are those remains. These fragments flicker between presence and absence—film, mark, and object as thresholds onto memory.
In attempt to survive erasure, fear mutates, bodies endure, and histories reassemble in unstable forms. What emerges is the persistence of a trace. These traces are witness to what endures.
