Troubled Colours is a solo show by multi-media artist Zara Kand. Employing dark, surrealistic undertones, on display will be a collection of oil paintings, 3D elements, as well as a brand new hand-painted animation on screen. The work of Kand is best described as moody and psychological, with the occasional hint of twisted humor.
The opening event will include a booklet giveaway, strange confections, and otherworldly music by Karie and Michel of Orchids of Jupitor at 9pm.
The exhibition will be on view through July 27th at Artlands Gallery in downtown Redlands.
