Rebecca Campbell and curator Sara Cochran discuss the development of the artist’s Young Americans series of portraits and how the artworks in the exhibition respond to and interact with larger conversations surrounding contemporary figurative painting. The conversation will also investigate the evolution of Campbell’s work over the past decade since Cochran’s critically acclaimed exhibition Seeing is Believing at the Phoenix Art Museum. Doors will open at 6:30 pm and the conversation will begin at 7 pm, lasting approximately one hour. This will be a seated event with limited capacity and early arrival is strongly encouraged. Complimentary parking will be provided in the parking lot directly across the street from the gallery. RSVP Required and available at the link provided.
