New visions of contemporary art from Dara Kay Barker, Adrienne Hein, Stefan Kietzman, Joo Park-Kwon, and Lana Shmulevich will be unveiled at The Artists Gallery (TAG) beginning March 6 and running through March 29. On Saturday, March 9, from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, TAG invites the community and media to attend the opening reception for these new exhibitions. At this creative gathering artists will discuss their distinct styles. Each solo show presents unique themes and subjects. Exhibition titles range from Soulful Surfaces (Barker), Stranger in a Strange Land (Hein), East Meets West (Park-Kwon), Combined Progression (Kietzman) & Between the Worlds (Shmulevich). The reception is free to attend.
Additional exhibition events include a brunch hosted by artist Dara Kay Barker. This brunch will take place on Sunday, March 17 at 10:30AM. Guests can expect to enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, gain exclusive insight about the artist’s cold wax process and enjoy creative company. Following the brunch, the community is invited to an artist talk at 3:00PM. This artist led discussion will allow participants to hear about the practices, processes and visions that inspire TAG’s member exhibitions. Participating artists include Adrienne Hein, Stefan Kietzman, Joo Park-Kwon & Lana Shmulevich.
