Join Emmy-winning Host, Executive Producer, and show Creator Mickela Mallozzi, along with show Director, Lina Lyte Plioplyte, for a special screening and talk back of their newest season of Bare Feet with Mickela Mallozzi, the travel dance series currently airing on PBS SoCal, moderated by LMU Assistant Professor of Dance, Bernard Brown.
In celebration of Black History Month, Mickela and Lina will share some of the incredible stories behind the making of this new season of traveling the world within the 5 boroughs of NYC, highlighting the GARIFUNA community and episode – followed by a dance performance and audience dance session, led by the LA-based Garifuna American Heritage Foundation United ensemble!

Please enter through the main campus entrance at Lincoln Blvd. and LMU Drive. Click here for a map of the campus. Parking will be available in P2 & P3 of the University Hall Parking Garage. The event is located on the first floor of University Hall in University Hall 1000.

Attendees will take the Elevator to the Ground Floor, and University Hall 1000 is to the far west, by the escalators and directly across from Einstein’s Bagels.
