FP Contemporary is pleased to announce the opening of “AQUA”, featuring the artwork of visual artist Claudia Meyer. Through this solo exhibition, Claudia Meyer showcases her new creative flight that highlights water and the interplay between energy and light. Claudia draws inspiration from the sensations she experiences around the freedom given to us by the liquid element, which serves as a true mirror of life. The freedom of movement that water gives us presents a striking beauty that is personified by the spiral reflection, which acts as a reflection of the soul.
The exhibition will showcase a variety of mediums, including LED light Installations, sculptures, and ceramics. Through her creations, Claudia Meyer aims to inspire deep contemplation in viewers, by exploring the dynamic relationship between water and its sediments. A skilled artist, Meyer uses light and shadow to create colorful and dynamic images that are truly unique. Meyer has collaborated with Los Angeles-based ceramicist, HÜG to produce some of the ceramic pieces on display.
By transforming nature into art, Claudia Meyer reminds us of the rich history of artistic expression. “AQUA” is set to be an exhibition that will provoke thought and leave a lasting impression on all who attend, offering a visually stunning showcase of Meyer’s work that is accessible to all.
