In conjunction, the gallery will hold its Summer Party—a celebration inspired by Spain featuring refreshments and music. We hope you’ll join us!
The Mountain and the Sea presents a new series of large paintings which translate and complement 40 small en plein air paintings that Erik Olson ambitiously created during his months-long project in Southern Spain in 2021. The series brings to life the deep appreciation and connectedness with nature the artist experienced during daily hikes from the Mediterranean seaside up into the mountains of Andalusia. Additionally, eight black and white drypoint etchings are included in the project.
