There are artists that need to exactly where they’re going. Thy need to know each turn and twist of their creative process. Cecilia Petasne is not one of them. She thrives plunging into the subconscious to find what it is to be human. She delves into this adventure we call Life. Her forms are anthropomorphic and mystical. She draws as she creates without order and yet without chaos. A few artists can portray Life as she does, unfiltered, unknown, and yet soothing and welcoming. Her work strikes you with endless mythological images and must be savored in our memory.
