Celebrate the start of Scent Week with Cinema SENTIR, presenting Blade Runner (dir. Ridley Scott, 1982) in the Aster Screening Room. A series of immersive film screenings featuring 4D sensory activations of scent, taste, and atmospherics, Cinema SENTIR transforms the cinematic experience into a hyper-sensory environment with ambient “scent scores” cued to sync with on-screen action. Visceral, stimulating and sometimes disorienting — Cinema SENTIR takes viewers beyond the bounds of the screen and into a realm that blends the evocative pleasures of fantasy with deeper sensory awareness. After the screening is over, don’t forget to continue the festivities at the Rooftop party.
