BEYOND THE STREETS is pleased to announce their second Los Angeles exhibition will be in partnership with SF MOMA’s 2022 SECA Art Award winner, Gregory Rick. The exhibition officially opens to the public on Saturday, November 5.
Rick, an Oakland-based visual artist, has also become a recent graduate of Stanford University’s MFA art practice program. His solo art exhibition, “Party in Meggido”, will showcase a new collection of work that builds on the genre of history painting, describing his art as exploring “the known, the obscure, and the forgotten”, while questioning the who’s and why’s of history.
