Moby Arts Celebrates National Poetry Month with sustainable fashion, and art while listening to a very special poetry reading by the legendary Poet Roni Girl and Angelo Moore of musical group Fishbone.
Showcasing poetry inspired art by artist MRSNSTENCILS, HERO, Trusty Scribe, and Amy Smith.
Angelo Carmen Christopher Moore is an American musician, best known for his work as lead singer and saxophonist for the Los Angeles ska and funk metal band Fishbone. Angelo Moore, lead singer and saxophonist of the band Fishbone, devotes his life crafting art through spoken word, music, and fashion.
Poet Roni Girl is a Los Angeles based Poet & Upcycled Fashion Designer. Poet Roni Girl’s original poetry has been recited by Grammy Award Singer Brandy on the hit show Moesha and has headlined The Comedy Store for 5 years.
Poet Roni Girl’s poetry combines old-school hip hop flava infused with down home blues and blue note Jazz. Her lyrics are recycled poems that speak of Jazz Tales & hip hop lullabies.
