New York, NY – Space 776 is pleased to present Heuristics – a solo exhibition of selected two-dimensional works by South Korean artist Sungyoung Hong. By using lenticular lenses to produce printed images with an illusion of depth, Sungyoung Hong’s work possesses the ability to change or move as the image is viewed from different angles.

Sungyoung Hong (b. 1976) studied photography at the Kaywon University of Arts & Design. He obtained his BFA in Fine Art and Photography at the Chungang University in Seoul, Korea. He currently practices holography as a part of a series of four expressions, entitled; Heuristic, Noise, Darkness-Incompletion-, and photo studio-lock-. He lives and works in Seoul, Korea. Hong shows extensively around the world.
