D:Face, one of the best-known street artists worldwide, brings his long awaited new solo exhibition to downtown’s Corey Helford Gallery from Sept. 23 through Oct. 21. Entitled “Happy Never Ending,” this will be D:Face’s only U.S. solo show this year and will be a full immersive experience as he is set out to resurrect romance in the modern era.
D:Face work features reoccurring themes about celebrity, fame and mortality. Influenced by punk music, graffiti, skateboarding, his work can be seen across a variety of different media applying his playful, tongue-in-cheek imagery with anti-establishment values, and his early artistic inspirations include pop artists such as Lichtenstein, Haring and Warhol.
