Visual Culture Arts is pleased to present “Postcard From São Paulo”, a photography exhibition curated by Renato Negrao featuring the work of Brazilian Photographer Malu Mesquita. The exhibition will open at Substrate Gallery on Friday, July 12 with an artist’s reception from 5-8PM, and it will be on view from Saturday, July 13 – Monday, July 15 from 2-8PM daily.
Mesquita’s muse is São Paulo — South America’s biggest city. Using her photography, she takes the viewer on a tour through the iconic city as seen from her eyes and her camera lens. The artist tells us, “I love to walk the city alone. That’s when I am in the best mood to capture the photos that I love. Urban Landscape’s little hidden stories are what motivate me as a photographer.”
