Meditations Between the Soil and the Stars offers reflections and interpretations of what the artist encounters in his daily life. For Crespo, each of these moments plays a significant role in his comprehension of the Universe. Moments – from the seemingly mundane to those deeply profound – he finds himself cogitating and meditating on, in order to understand what these experiences mean in the greater scheme of existence. Each artwork is not only a vehicle and mechanism for understanding Crespo’s philosophical considerations, but they provide viewers an access point for their own meditations on life, as well.
