An Instance of This is an ephemeral micro-community made up of jose e abad, Carlos Medina-Diaz, Justin Morris and randy reyes, to hold a spatiotemporal experience filled with live actions, material bodies, and digital media.
Based on shared and individual experiences around existing in the margins of society, this performance jam is a contemplative, disorienting and celebratory act of embracing the dynamism and multidimensionality of queer people of color. As we tread through our lived experiences our paths often cross, interspersed at times for years or just a brief moment; nevertheless, these intersecting rhizomatic constellations serve as opportunities to weave together a support system and ecology of being that is in direct relation, opposition, and in subversive dialogue with the oppressive social systems of our daily lives.
